Default 1994 WRX STi Tyre RA - 'Guaging Interest'

Bought the car for weekends and track days but find myself not really using, and it should be!

Brief specifcation includes the following:

1994 M Reg
98, 000 kms
White

Usual Type RA features including close ratio box, DCCD, intercooler water spray, lightweight aluminium panels, roof vent, Nardi steering wheel, STi carbon fibre front strut brace and aircon

Interior 1) - STi pedals, Corbeau Pro Series Racing seats, Luke harnesses, Safety Devices Roll Cage - all other interior removed.

Interior 2) - the above can be removed and all the standard STi interior can be refitted including front and rear setas, door cards, carpets etc etc.

Engine - Green Filter, TSL Group N exhaust system (downpipe, centre section and back box), Scooby ECU with an 'intersting' map, fitted at Scoobyclinic.

Handling - AST fully adjustable coilover suspension (only done approx. 200 miles), with uprated springs, 24mm Whiteline rear anti roll bar, Whiteline front anti roll bar, antilift kit, solid drop links front and rear

Brakes - DBA bells and grooved dics with DS2500 pads front and rear

Alloys and tyres - 17" bug eye type, in black, with virtually new Toyo T1-S tyres (215/45/17) - 16" alloys and slick tyres also available.

Short MOT (September 04) and tax (August 04), but these can be sorted out easily.

The car is in good condition, and since I have owned it, has had a monthly oil service and has been filled with Optimax and NF. This is a quick, ecellent handling car for road or rack.

If interested I can send pictures of the car, and talk about price options for the car with the stripped out interior or the standard interior.

Simon

Forgot to mention, it's got a boost gauge as well

If anyone is interested in the car with the standard interior re-fitted or with the race type interior, we can talk prices.

Stop squabbling!

Simon, do you think it was worth stripping the interior to save the weight?

Sorry to distract the thread. Do hope you sell it to one of the above!

The main reason for stripping out the interior was because I was taking slicks and tools etc to tracks and so, a) didn't want to ruin the inerior, b) save some weight and c) have less things to rattle, squeak etc. I never weighed what I took out, but would have probably been in the region of 30 + Kg's, so would make some difference for hill climbing etc.

BTW, the wheels are Pro race 2's, 16" diameter in matt back, currrently fitted with Avon, 195 / 600 / 16 with a medium compound. I would sell these @ £550.00 -the tyres have only seen approx. 100 miles so barely scrubbed in!
