Sorry Alan, I'm not interested in buying your car... but as another DBM owner I was interested in your blue gearknob. Is it a Prodrive silver sprayed in DBM? If so, how much did it cost to spray & have you found any problems with the paint chipping etc?

It is a Prodrive, I saw it on their car at the Motor Show. The supplying Subaru dealer thought they could probably respray it in DBM. I never saw their attempt, but gather they were unhappy with the outcome so had Prodrive do it. No chipping or scratching whatsoever, even, dare I say it, from a wedding ring!
I don't know how much it cost, but it wasn't cheap. £70 seems to ring a bell, but couldn't swear by it. Looks good on the car though.
