Nothing - if I can get away with it. I am 'discussing' with my MD that the company car allowance should be for the provision of a car when needed not the ownership.
Otherwise something very basic/cheap which just meets the company's criteria (4 seats, a hard roof, always less than 4 years old).
As I walk everywhere or use taxi's / tube in London I am only really needing to use a car when I leave London. Currently this is less than once every 6 weeks.
A friend is buying a 911 (Carrera 2 convertible) and we are talking about me borrowing/renting this when I need it (and he doesn't). I don't think this will include track days :-(
If you calculate the cost of ownership of any car then for the trips I make most (up to the North West) then British Midlands is a quicker, more leisurely and cheaper option.
