VW Beetle 1968 1500cc (Large images inside)
85,500 miles. Well it is a very sad day in our household now that the beloved Bug has to be sold, due to impending high mileage for my wife.
Beetle was lovingly restored from chassis upwards in 1998. Everything that needed replacing was replaced, just had a new front axle put on due to rust/rot on the old one on the suspension mounts. Tappets have just been re-adjusted & a good old service too, brake pads/discs, oil, oil in cooler, etc.
This beloved car has never failed to start on the 'button' as it were & has given many, many miles of pain free driving.
It is free road tax & about £140/annum to insure with Lancaster Insurance with a limited mileage of 6000.
The colour is un-original I'm afraid but much better for it, interior is spotless & well the whole car is ni-on perfect for 6 years of use (ok excellent then!)
We both will be very sad to see this car go & we will probably wish we had never sold it, but needs must.
Wife has said it must go to a loving, caring family, is this you?
Price is £3250 ONO & mileage is original. If you require any more info. please e-mail me. We have pictures of the build from top to bottom but they won't go with the car but copies of them will be made.
