Cool

I have a "famous" genuine ex-Prodrive Impreza (they are the previous registered owner in the log book) for sale. First reg Aug 97 in blue with 32,000 miles and has Prodrive everything - Engine, QS, Exhaust, full interior with electric Recaro's, full colour coded body kit, Suspension package, 17" wheels (powder coated), big brakes (not just pads), driving light conversion etc.etc.
This car has been featured in many magazines (Performance Car reprints available) amd is in excellent condition with full Subaru SH and remaining warrantee. A rare oportunity to own a special Scooby with interesting history.

Sorry I should have put a value - I am looking for around £21,500. Also the registration is R (not) P and yes it was on Top Gear the other week.

Sunilp - I thought 122 was pretty good as this was from a standing start with just over 1/4 mile run up and had to be about 3 inches away from the camera! Don't forget this was real MPH not from the speedo - this was showing 135, for the record the car has been officialy tested @ 146

Sorry to be blunt, but surely the only thing "interesting" about this cars history is that it has been thrashed and abused by a bunch of motoring hacks, and is unlikely to represent a sound second-hand purchase.

And yes, my car is for sale on this board too, but please no comments saying "you only posted this because you can't sell your own car." If I can't sell my MY99, my girlfriend can have it.

Cool

Howdy..

Hasnt this "famous" impreza gone yet ?

To me, the "being owned by prodrive" doesnt make it famous....And the famous part shouldnt up the price... perhaps the actual mods on the car justify its price... but I would never buy a car because it was so-called "famous"

I am happy with my un-famous car...and no its not forsale..

J.

Funny, I would have thought that as Prodrive had been the original owners and converted the car from new it would have confirmed the quality of the upgrades and servicing. For sure the added value is in all the modifications rather than who owned it, I only mentioned it to underline the fact that it had been well looked after. By the way, it was only ever tested by Performance Car and was used by Prodrive as a showcase, the current mechanical condition reflects this.
Anyway as I am struggling to find anything better - EVO's included, I will probably end up keeping it
