Warning Honda XR600 R(W?) for sale. 1998 R registered. K+N air filter. Acerbis bark busters, CRD frame and sump guards fitted at great expense! 3,400km covered of green laning. Standard colours, a few scratches due to high speed aerial antics (myself one way/bike the other) Just been jetwashed and pro-cared, ready for a new owner. Easy to start(once I show you the knack) and bomb proof mechanicals. Would suit anyone brave. Not used in enduro, but would be at home doing that or as has been used by me; as a green laning machine. Taxed till 7/00. Lovely bike, lovely owner
Need to make way for new toy from Japan.
Offers close to £3,000 if your 'ard enough!

Hi James, how long's it been? 2 or 3 weeks since I saw you
No rush to sell at all. Come and have a look, it'll keep. As it's you I'd let you have the bike rack as well for nothing (to hang on back of car with bike attached) but it may bend your towbar a wee bit! Can you afford to move after having THOSE lights fitted (wife doesn't read the BBS I hope)

Tim,
Not long since fun on the skidpan. Do I interpret correctly that new toy (S300...) is on its way? Lights are awesome. I keep looking for excuses to flash (blind) at idiots, but unfortunately (?) I haven't come across many recently. Wife hasn't had an opinion on the lights yet. I don't think she's twigged they're not standard![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
Bike is for travelling to & from train station prior to commuting into London (18 miles of A,B & unclassified). Flogging house & flat to buy des res in boonies for quality of life & healthy up-bringing of sprog. Also for security - less chance of toe-rags having a go at my property, unlike last night when they broke & knackered steering lock on my GSXR - then the alarm went off & so did they.
Be in touch.
Regards
James

James, no not S300 WRX as it went over my budget unfortunatley! The purchase is from "the other camp" so to speak
Sorry to hear about attempted theft of other machine. It is a worry to us all.

Hi Sheridan, sorry I have no digital camera or "normal" pictures of the bike so I can't pass any on to you. As for description, above is pretty accurate! Thanks for thinking of it though
Every time I tried to look at the track pictures on the web site above, it killed my PC and I had to shut it down!

It does that to a lot of people? not sure what to do about it as the jpegs are not big ? anybody have any ideas I suspect one picture is doing most of the damage so I'll remove that and see if it is any better.
Anyway they are mostly pictures of me as the members are very bad at sending them, and I'm not very photogenic![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif)
There that shoul fix it..... most pictures are now down from 100k > to < 25k
And I've added you details

Herts is good for lanes. Bucks has some but they are deliberately signed wrong ie keep those that don't research info off them! Oxon is good though, and maybe up for a run on a warm day!

Have just moved & just today got back online with my iMac - Home Highway has yet to reach this neck of the woods!
Plans slightly changed as opposed to driving/riding to station separatly, we're both commuting to London in the car. Must say that we're also now getting a 2nd car, also a Turbo but a Mondeo 1.8TD !!!! Current plans don't include traillie for riding to staion, but may change.
Brought GSXR up here on Thurs but nearly very leary experience due to mud on road! Also bloody cold commute from London. Poss new Y in March, as soon as avail may make it worthwhile.
Anyone dropped out yet? Gagging for it...
