As above really

The problems, might as well be honest! :- miles are 115K , but for 20K I've owned the car I've been smiling all the way! its got no MOT to pass (have the fail slip) it needs new CV joints and new front tyres (got two new tyres in the boot ready to fit ) and a horn (might just need a fuse). the front valance could do with some touching up but I've got all the colour matched spray cans that I'll throw in, the offside drivers wheel was heavily dented when I got the car , this has been balanced but I'd reccomend a new wheel. Few other paint chips on the side skirts but again these are purely cosmetic.

So thats it, an utter bargain in my eyes £4000 no offers, no trades (unless you got an origin B2 and LRC100) needs to go this week or its being part exchanged. The car has been looked after brilliantly by M0NEY's dad and is well known to the surrey scoob scene. I've loved this car and will be very sad to see it go. Based near Kingston, no test pilots please.

can include a blitz SBCIII & new kenwood mask unit for an extra price to save me taking them out (£250 for SBC, £150 for stereo)
questions : wgill (at) ideal.co.uk

/EDIT forgot some bits STI rear lights, and a toad 606 CAT1 full closure alarm

Erm........alot of parts seem to be new/just fitted etc......why get all this work done then sell it? Whats wrong with the car? Is it HPi Clear or ever been in an accident? How far are you from the nearest airport? I want it but living in Scotland and No MOT causes a problem!

sorry should have said, I've just got a new job so I need to sell this because I can no longer afford to run two cars, so I'm pooling my funds and buying an S2000.

There are indeed lots of new parts, I've maintained this car myself and was always tinkering with it, the oil I changed under 500 miles ago (inc filter) and I have £50's of gearbox oil to go in to. Like I said above its a sad sale but I can't afford to insure two cars. Its an hoesnt car and I've been honest about the condition, I'll entertain any questions you have

Was with Will when his car posted 270 at Powerstation. Great looking car and as Will said well looked after. Loud too with the Blitz

Just gutted I haven't got £4000 to give you as your cars got loads of goodies I want Don't be spooked by the price I think Will just needs the space urgently.

Edd.

um no interior snaps, and I only have an SLR camera, the nearest airport is heathrow although gatwick isnt miles away.

like I said i need to sell it, if I got it MOT'd and sorted out it would cost me more money and then I'd have to up the asking price and it would all take time, I'd happily sell this car to a mate its not about to go bang, I just don't want to shell out more money on getting it MOT'd.

M0NEY will testify to the amount of work done to the car, I will admit when it was driven it was driven hard but I have always looked after it and no expense was spared, its never been crashed or taken on a track day (not by me anyway)

for 4K its an utter bargain the spoiler and bonnet alone are worth nearly a grand!

I can also vouch for the car cos I was at the same Powerstation RR day as Edd and Will. It's an absolute bargain IMO, I'd have it myself but just couldn't live with those transmission losses eh Will?

My only concern is driving it 400miles with no MOT.........im ****ed if I get pulled over! If I had to...I would tho, does it have tax? I would either need to fly up or talk a mate into driving me, just checked insurance and thats no problem. I want it but need to sort out a few things first......leave me with it just now!

As long as everything works and theres no excuse to pull you (apart from noise maybe) your 80% OK. I picked up an old 205 GTI from Banbury once and drove it 300 miles back to Wales - just to good to miss at the time.

Not saying its right or wrong or about to get into a moral argument, but if push comes to shove it can be done.

/edit - if I had the space and time to rob the goodies, I'd buy will a £4000 grand Plasma TV on my credit card

If you book an MOT test before you pick it up then you are covered as long as you are driving it there Drive it home then cancel it

If I were you I'd do it in broad daylight and preferably when raining. Police will be less likely to stop you during the day and even less likely to want to stand around in the wet working out if your car is cosher.

Dead of night means bored police IMHO.

I drove the 205 home with my other 205's tax disc on a nice Saturday afternoon. Thing was the guy wanted £250 for it and it had 4 new pirelli's magnex exhaust and tubular manifold, koni shocks and springs, induction kit and the boy left the Sony flip down CD player in too.

It's better to be caught for no tax than fraud for using another tax disc If you do that and get caught then you can be prosected for fraud

I knew a total muppet who took a mates tax disc from his car that he scrapped and when he got pulled the police spotted it and were going to prosecute the pair of them for fraud My mate just explained that he had no knowledge of the other guy having the tax disc and I have no idea what happened to the guy but I believe my mate got a warning.
