Hi guys,
I have a brand new, well, a week old, VTA alloy non-recirculatory dump valve fitted by Scoobysport. I paid £150 for it and I will accept any sensible offer. Unfortunately, my wife has given me an ultimatum; the dump valve goes or I do, so I have made the decision based on that threat.

Its a 5 minute job to fit and can be taken on and off for when you want it. Let me know if youre interested,

You should have known that dump valves are not wife approved. I may be interested as I believe mine is knackered. I will mail you.

If its only a 5 minute job, whip it out, store it and put it back in when you have "Authorised Boys Time". Surely she can't complain about that or is it a "Money Thing"? If thats the case, do as above but HIDE it!

well, the same weekend i fitted the dump-valve, i also fitted the downpipe. As far as impulsive purchases go, that was an expensive 500 odd quid i spent. So money does have something to do with it. "You spent HOW MUCH?" Donnington coming too, so new brakes needed and a service and possibly new tires. I need to watch my costs and this was an impulsive purchase and far from a neccassary one
Still getting rid of it, lemme know guys, save me from the wraith of Mrs Blowdog.

Fortunatley I haven't signed up for the ankle chains just yet, so dump valves are a perfectly acceptable item. The girlfriend syndrome does however come into play - but you don't need a new exhaust? You don't need....you don't need.......YES I DO DAMN IT! Just listen to the shhhh when I change gear

the bus impersonation isnt a common occurance fortunately. I spent a lot of time driving around town today and can honestly say it is totally amusing.
