MY2000 Turbo for sale
#5
The car is imported but it IS a UK model, rather than being made up to UK Spec and would not be shown on the V5 as an import.
It's covered by 3 years' warranty, one from IM and two from another independent company.

Order books for MY00 are now closed on the continent, so if someone wants a cheaper impreza, they'll have to wait for MY01 or go for a deal like Nick's offering.
Recent prices were around 45k guilders (roughly), which at an exchange rate of 3.7 to the pound works out at just over 14k including the VAT. Add an alarm, the warranty, etc...
Does the car have aircon? Have you paid the VAT? (You are legally required to pass on the receipt for the VAT to the new owner, whcih gives the game away about import too)
I think if you really do want to make a quick sale, your price may need to reflect this, and that you'll save a round of questions by being open and saying that it is an import.
Bear in mind that one UK Subaru dealer is offering new UK Turbos for under 20k.
I'm not trying to flame here, but trying to offer constructive advice. Given that the UK car market is, to be blunt, knackered, you could drop your price, sell the car quickly, and still have enough profit to take the family on a holiday.
Cheers,
Nick

£19500 sounds a little on the steep side.
I'm getting mine from Auto-Tecnica, imported via Holland, UK spec, brand new and first registered in the UK for £18250.
They still have a few for sale with delivery in June/July.
