Since my budget is about 2-3K now, I reckon I fancy something like an older BMW 735i or a Nissan Maxima... Lot of car for little money..
Certainly miss Scoob though!

Ooh not good...
H/J plate Corrado 16V's are getting down to that sort of money now, and they are a lovely drive, tidy handling, fairly rapid, reasonably economical, bomb proof VW mechanicals...guess what I ran one before the scoob loved it to bits much better built, and the steering is beautifly weighted! If you can squeeze a bit more there's always the Vento VR6...better handling than the golf, but with a nasty boot tacked on
