Just to clarify the alarm situation as I have seen this issue being
raised before:
The alarm fobs do not have anything to do with the cars ECU!!!
The alarm works with the Sigma control unit and as such it is that unit
that recognises the fobs.
The Prodrive ECU is fitted as a straight replacement for your original
ECU. It would take you about half an hour to fit yourself, but if you
are unsure I would recommend getting someone you trust to do it.
Cheers

Ahhhh right - I suppose it depends on which car model you have.
The PPP was fitted to my standard UK turbo that as far as I know
doesn't have any chip in the key itself - just has the Sigma alarm fob.
I did not have any problems with the alarm at all - changing the ECU back
to standard had no effect.
Does the WRX's or imports have a key chip immobiliser that works with
the ECU???

Definately no re coding required on 99 - 2000 cars. I had one fitted in about 10 mins, really is easy. The exhaust and intercooler pipework is a doddle too. I reckon someone could do the whole lot in an hour.
£700 is a good deal for the lot. The items individually add up to quite a bit and especially the centre cat and intercooler pipework is very hard to come by!

Thanks N1 SPAN,
OK - have had lots of people interested in it and a flurry of emails in the
last couple of hours and I am pretty sure that I have answered everyone.
To make it fair on everyone and not to go on and on with an auction/best
offers I have decided that I will call it a day at 7pm Friday evening or the first one to offer asking price of £700 (buyer to pay postage/courier) or meet me somewhere in North Yorkshire would secure immediately.
Regards
Chris

Provisionally sold to Matt.
Thanks for the interest everyone and sorry to all of those who offered
just a bit less but had to take everyone in the order that they contacted me
and offered the asking price.
regards
Chris
