I have bought brakes (4 pots) off P1's for about 300 pounds...

Firefox, thanks for your comments and we are of course open to offers. For the record here's how I came to £500

Alex M put up a set that had covered 5000 miles. He was asking £400. So £100 on that as our set is basicly 'new'.

At retail prices, new parts, the calipers are £356.37 each, Discs £111.14, Pads £97.53, all + VAT, giving a total of £1213.24 inc VAT
That makes £500 sound cheap to me.

Given that the prodive upgrade is over £1500, again I think £500 sounds cheap.

Anyway, the last thing I want to do is take anybody for a ride, so I am open to suggestions, but bear in mind unlike many I have heard of, this set has covered less than 20 miles, and none of that on the road.

where did they drive 20 miles if not on the road?, on the pavement?

also would like to know if anyone interested in a set of p1 17" inch wheels> I may sell these soon.
