Brembo Brakes

Interesting concept.
If RBC is unhappy with them & thinks that they may be in any way dangerous or of sub-standard quality/performance, he/she may leave themselves open to litigation in the future should he/she sell them to someone & that person suffer a mishap as a result of aforesaid dangerous/sub-standard brakes (duly attributable to them).
(My guess is that the partner found out & is insisting that they be sold in order that the house might be done up )

RBC,
I'll be interested to see if you find a buyer... may be taking the disposal route soon myself. Incidentally, is Scoobysport going to honour the kit's warrantee for the new owner?
Puff,
I cannot see that there would be a problem selling the kit onto someone else... Personally, I would ensure that I told the purchaser why I was dissatisfied with the product and choosing a different solution. I would also be able to tell them that I have repeatedly been told by the supplier that there are very few people that have trouble with the kit. After disclosing this information the buyer can take their own descision and, at less than half the new price, I suspect it would still sell.
Incidentally, I have had a number of problems with my kit and these have occurred with plenty of wear left on the pads (read way more than 1 or 2 mm). IIRC, I have been waiting months(plural) for the "final solution" from AP whilst driving around on my 3rd set of warped brembo "Group A" disks. I now believe that patience is not always a virtue...
