Default Wide-body 4xxhp monster for sale (LHD)

The base car is a 99 Turbo (June).
One single owner from new (me!).

No expense has been spared to make this one of the most beautiful Imprezas around. It's also a go-car. Power and handling wise.

This new engine has done about 17.000km and has stayed almost trouble-free.
Only problem was a couple of valve springs that broke. It has been solved permanently by fitting double-spring valves from FERREA.

Since then, it was mapped by Bob Rawle and should be producing a little more than the initial 420hp (reported on the dyno bench).

I believe it has plenty more to offer upon trying different turbo setups.

Been to a couple of track days and behaved very well; apart from that, regular driving.

So, after all the money and time spent, why I am selling it?

Job and recent marriage take most of my time. It won't get any better when I have kids.

I also work 4 km from my home. Even though I could drive it there, it's pointless. That leaves the weekends, but not every one. I'm using it a couple of times / month.

Simply, there is no justification to have it parked in the garage so much time.

I'd hate to sell it in pieces, even though it may be the most likely scenario.

So, here's a chance of a lifetime: £ 24.000 UKP and it's yours

Any questions? acorreiajr@netcabo.pt

I wouldn't rate it so high since there are more powerful engines out there.
Anyway, the whole package is stable and works very well.

It's an excellent platform to make it an even faster Impreza. The transmission sure can take it!

Cheers

I made RHD to LHD conversion. Not too difficult but difficult enough. (too much wiring and electric work, new dashboard, klima, steering, pedals, heater, brake cilinder etc.)

Won't argue with you since I don't have experience in that

Better keep it LHD then
