Thumbs up

Munna

It sounds beautiful!

- I could look after it for 4 months for you it would keep my Red 97MY company! - The wifes Legacy is getting a bit tired actually, but I wouldn't be looking at buying another Scooby just now.

Just thinking of my drive with 2 gorgeous Imprezas sat on it. Hmmmmm..... Ahhhh....

I could even let it have my garage if you were nervous .

Just think - it would be there waiting for you on your return, - pining just slightly!

Mick

- You ARE tempted aren't you!

Talking

erm....no...
but thanks for the offer...you are right she is beautiful.
sorry i forgot to include quick shift into the spec sheet.!!
life with out her is going to be a terrible pain. She was and is 'one of a kind'.I will be in Bangladesh for 3 to 4 month's ..in that time I will not be driving...in the run up to leaving(about 2 months')I will be driving something small..(not just in engine capacity but body size as well)I twill back to the old day's...see a Scoob and look at it for a long time ...

As they say better 'to have loved..than not too have loved at all'

Why don't you just suspend your insurance and put the car into storage? Do you not need a car when you get back in 4 months time?

Question

You don;t say whether it is a UK/euro/jap model?

To cheer you up I got "offered" £12k by a Subaru dealer and £14.5k from Seat. (sorry that should be dripping with sarchasm)

Mines a UK euro MY99, 11k miles, leather, a/c and fairly standard after that.

sorry chaps..th car is UK spec
AWD:it's just gonna tie up a possible £14k..i thought that I could probably get two small car's for that price..give one to my kid sister and one for us...then get back from Bangladesh and sell one and get another Scoob!!..by that that time the market may have stabalized a tad bit more tahn it is now.

Prices will probably have dropped in 6 months - but the cost of selling the Impreaz and then getting another would probably make up for that.

Unless you need the money in those 6 months - I'd personally hang on to the car.

Just IMHO of course..

true...I would just rather sell it that have to worry about her while i am away...i mean come on 3 to 4 month's...no one would clean her like the attention I give her..it would be shear torture for the car...with black grime on the wheel's ...the car will be in a sorry state by the time I get back..(Believe me it will)..it's just a car to the rest of my family..I would much rather see her go to a good home..

Fair enough - and you just can't argue with the cash in the bank account. Depreciation, crash damage worries etc. are irrelevant.

After 6 months without a Scooby, you'll be desparate for a quick fix....
