Cool

For sale, my car.
13,000 miles
FSSH.
AP racing clutch (Official Prodrive option) - 3,000 miles ago.
Alcons - 200ish miles old?
Crap stereo.
OIRO £38k.
I know full history of car from first owner. I've owned it from 2,300 miles.
Would, of course, consider a 6SSK or Koni equipped Cav as P/X, cash either way - LOL.
For sale because I hate having so much cash tied up in a car .
Cheers
Chuck

Well steve there a couple of reason why I wouldn't be too keen on buying a car that had been sat around for 2+ years

The brakes on chucks car have got to add a bit as well as the fact that it is a Type UK, and for some that is the only possible way to go.

Just don't see how it's your business anyway, if someone doen't want to pay the price thats up to them.

Chuckster,

Best of luck with the sale, good price for a genuine car....please have it when we have booked into Powerstation.

Would be nice to have a genuine UK 22b up against the competitors.

Regards

Cool

J, you got it baby! I expect a severe pea famine, and I think I have a chance to clean up.

Accountant Kev boy racer hater - Charge what the market will bear. There are currently 2 other UK cars on the market, 1 standard with loads more miles @ £40k and 1 standard with no miles @ £50k, both at dealers. In autotrader there are 3 imports from £36 to £38.
If it doesn't sell then it doesn't sell. I can drive it happily knowing I do not, in fact, have so much cash tied up in a car .
But thanks for your post, I'm sure it's helped alot of people.
And rupertu, speaking of overpricing!! 2p for that drivel? LOL
It's always nice that a few people will protect the ignorant majority from themselves when it comes to spending too much money. I'm sorry I posted this and tried to fleece all you Scoobynet guys. I'll admit the cars value should be nearer £19,140, being the new price (£29,000 - thanks Steve) less the average new car 1st year's depreciation figure of 33%.
Cheers folks,
Chuck, feeling well and truely reprimanded.

Lovely car Chuckster

If my company gets sold and I make a few quid from the share options ( ) I could be tempted. Then again I could end up with bu66er all so I'll go back to dreaming for the moment.

Best of luck. To all of those people who are questioning the price - do you understand just how special this car is? I think not.

Cheers

Chris

How many of the original 16 Type UK's are left? I know of atleast one that has met its maker. If I could convince my girlfriend to re-mortgage our house, I'd buy it immediately. Anyone buying this car is looking at rock solid residuals for as long as they keep it in reasonable condition. You will lose more in one years ownership of a standard new Turbo than in 5 years ownership of a UK 22B.

Good price chuckster - you jammy jammy ba57ard.

Question

Chuck

Why, may I ask, was the clutch replaced at only 10,000 miles? Too much "enthusiastic" driving?

Just curious

Hey up

22B's came with a twin plate setup.. that is not suited to everyday driving.... they had to be slipped a little to provide a smooth pull off... hence they didnt last too long.. and proved noisy.

The UK versions were changed to an uprated AP item (as chucky stated).

The owners of Jap version were left to deal with the issue themselves... lol
