I have a PPP ECU from a MY98 Scoob for sale.
It will plug straight into any other MY98 Scoob, and will dramatically improve low-end torque amongst other things.
Call me on 07971 087017.
Highest offer gets it!

Stef.

I'll bid £50, just to raise the stakes a bit. I'm sure it will sell for much more.

Stef,
I take it you weren't using this at pod to set them blistering times in a near standard uk car

Save John sticking his neck out so far - I'll offer £51 if it will work on a standard 97MY Scoob? - No but really, is there any difference engine-wise between 97 & 98 ?

Cheers

Mick

Thanks for all your offers guys , but the highet bid was actually over £400.
Anyway, due to the fact that I absolute love the way the car is performing and also some rather interesting rolling road results, I am going to keep the ECU in for a while longer.

Stef.
PS Paul, it has only been in my car for two days, so no, it's not the reason.

Question

Stef

As you have been quite vocal in the past as to the value for money issue regarding PPP.
How much did you pay for it as its obviously worth what you paid.
Would you advise a Prodrive Chip above any others you have tried?
Why?

Question

I drove a PPP MY99 the other day and there was a noticably greater low end pick up and it generally felt more urgent.

I can't say it was a night and day difference but it was a short test.

The strange thing though was a whooshing noise from the exhaust as the revs hit about 4500. What was that all about? Made it seem quicker than it was.

I'd like to know where Stef got it from as well?

Bajie.
Yes, I have been quite vocal in the past about the value for money the PPP offers and my views on that haven't really changed.
I managed to get hold of my ECU from a car that had been scrapped, and therefore paid very little for it compared to ANY of the alternatives.
I think the exact changes it has made to my car deserve a seperate thread, as they really are night and day. Therefore, that is exactly what they'll get.

Stef.
