Default Subaru Legacy Turbo Saloon

1995 Subaru Legacy Turbo (UK model)

Dark Blue with STi decals
134,000 miles
Tax due end of November 2004
Mot due February 2005
Full Subaru Service History

Air Conditioning
H&R lowered/uprated springs
Bespoke 5" Japanese style tail box
MY01 Model Impreza front brake discs and four-pot calipers
MY00 Model Impreza 16" wheels, with 205/50 Toyo Proxes T1-S tyres

Rolling road results:
197.5 bhp @ 6250rpm
192 lbs/ft @ 4110rpm

Pics:

A fantastic car, that we simply no longer need. We originally bought the car to use as a track beast, but it was simply too good to spoil. Job changes mean we no longer both need a car, and we now have a dedicated track car.

Only problem is noisy tappets. These were beginning to quieten down with the use of Motul 300V 15W/50 oil. It was serviced very recently, and obviously doesn't like the oil they've replaced it with. You can have the rest of my Motul 300V!

We no longer have the space to store the car, or the time/miles to quieten the tappets down.

£2100 ono.

Wink

Nice motor - could almost be my car's twin! (except yours is newer!)

Where did you get the lowered / uprated springs from? Does it make a lot of difference to the handling?

Free BTTT for you anyway - good luck with the sale!

Hiya!

I'm afraid the springs were already on the car when we bought it, the previous owner just told me what they were. So I couldn't tell you if it's made any difference to the handling as such.

The car does ride quite stiffly though, and my wife thinks it corners more securely than our Prodrive Handling Packed Impreza!

Well, it was posted as £2100ono = "Or Nearest Offer..."

You may want to consider opening with a ballpark stab in the dark. Let's just say we've had a lower offer, and are seriously considering it...
