TBH mate, i think you'll get a shock when you realise what your car is actually worth. W/X reg imprezas are struggling to get what your asking.
From viewing the trader/Ebay/scoobynet, i think you need to drop your asking price by around £2-2500.
Only some advice mate!!

We'll see, there's a lot of rubbish out there, this isn't, you gets what you pay for. I only ever own immaculate and genuine cars, it is unfair to pass comment on a car which you have never seen. You want a mint car, you pay the money for it, wish I could find one's like this for £8500, i'd be buying them in bulk.
Cheers

Price guides are bollox though, many cars are under-priced (i.e. you won't be able to actually buy one for that price unless it's a shed), others are over-priced. I got my Audi runaround for way less than book price, hmm must be a shed then but it's done 25k in the last year without a hiccup

IMHO that's a fair price for a very tidy and sensibly modified example! I paid £9995 for mine: lower milage, but standard spec. It's is a very tough market for sellers at the moment, cause of new models, classic saturation and concerns about costs etc... As minters like this become an even rarer sight (there is a lot of considerably less nice stuff out there), I reckon they'll be a big revival in demand and, hence, prices. Pity you can't hang onto it!
Best of luck with the sale.

Thanks New_scooby_04, nice to see some people still have a clue about a nice car.
Comment much appreciated. I will hang on for a while, not that desperate, might just order the Cooper S Works in the mean time!
