Blitz Air filter

Steve,
I'm sure that I replied to your last thread on this subject. E-mail me of line please and give me some impartial advice as to why I should buy your kit and not the HKS that Dave Price is selling.
My car is an MY94 (But don't tell anyone as I can't afford a 98 spec car)
Regards

I'm sure I responded to you on the previous (read other) post about the Blitz
I'm only posting it for someone whose interested - I neither need the money or am looking to promote the product - I do not care
I was offered £95 a few weeks ago which I said no to - after all the things like brand new and SunilP sold his for £130
So Dogman I dont see it as a howler - I simply dont care responding to things like this - if its a lot of money to yourself then perhaps you should nto have purchased a Scooby in the first place?
Yee - correct - I wont haggle cos I know people eho can afford scoobies dont need to haggle - or are they just the tightest people on the planet?
S Gould - yes it is and I thought that maybe getting around £100 for it would be a bargain for someone
Moray - I think I was Cajouled into buying a HKS - but now its on I think I shoudl not have bothered!!

I'd agree with you on Scooby owners being tight Steve - that why you're trying to flog all your bits but expect a huge amount for them?
Or maybe people do want it, just not off you

Steve,
something is only worth what somebody will pay for it.
You seem to want (expect??) £100 plus just because it cost you £180ish. Well thats fine however people (judging from both the posts) dont want to spend more than £90, so in theory thats what its worth.
I have a MY 94 WRX (of which I am very proud) it cost me an arm and a leg in insurance, drinks petrol but I wouldnt change it for the world. I wanted a full Scooby Sport exhaust, which I got on this BBS (cheers Daz and Dennis) all in, this cost me about £350 because people were willing to haggle. (which I fitted myself as Im tight)
PS it could be that CraigH is right......give it to SunilP Im sure he could get you the price you want.
Cheers

I am inclined to agree with Yee here. The economic forces of supply and demand are in effect and if there is no demand for a particluar product at price x, the price is usually forced to be lowered to fulfil demand at price Y. But then it is up to the supplier. If you have no rush to sell then you may eventually find a buyer.
Also, I have to disagree with the 'I own a sccoby therefore can afford anything at any price' logic. I am 23, paying through the nose for insurance and petrol due to distance I travel to work and I saved hard to get my MY95 WRX which I am very proud of. I would love a brand new Blitz filter but as you suggest I have not got plenty of money laying around.
Anyway, my main point: would your Blitz fit my MY95 WRX? If so I would be willing to pay £94.99 or thereabouts
Cheers
Rikki

Rikki, beware...check out the comments in the General Questions ' Blitz dogs bollocks'.
From what I have read there it should be more like dogs ****.
Also if you have ABS then the Blitz may not fit as ABS module in the way ..allegedly.
Sorry dont wish to hinder your sale Steve ...after all you sound such a nice guy

Stratman,
Sorry I just can't aggree.
Steve,
I just wanted some advice between the HKS and the Blitz. I obviously asked in the wrong way or just asked the wrong person!!!
I thought that this was supposed to be a sociable friendly site.
Good luck with the sale anyway.
