EK:
Why are you selling this Apexi unit?
Steve, are these Apexi FC's model/year 'set' or are they universal. Don't want to get the wrong one.
EK, please pm me with your best price!

Thanks, 911

The power FC is not universal and you need to order the correct model for your beast You can get a power FC and commader from www.greenline.jp (jason is the guy to communicate with) for similar money new. Maybe also an AVC-R ???

I didn't know greenline sold second hand stuff

The seller should put down a lot more info here, like model of power fc and does the AVC-r come with the boost control kit? etc..

I remember when RC developments took the **** out of me when I bought a replacement AVC-R and charged me £517.00 WITHOUT the boost solenoid!!!!!

Thanks for the info everyone.
I currently have a Blitz boost controller fitted after a bad dose of fuel cut 2 years ago. Do i need this with the Apexi? (or can I sell it to help with the ££££££?)

The boost control on the PowerFC isn't the best. An extra boost controller is needed really - blitz or apexi.

the power fc doesn't come with boost control, you will need a controller.

i have the boost control kit for the power fc available from greenline, it has 4 boost settings and the same solenoid as USED ON the AVCR, works verry well.

Eh???? My power FC is controlling my boost nicely using the factory solenoid and sensors???????? And has the 4 settings etc like you have with the boost control kit..... the level of boost using the OEM stuff is limited by the OEM map sensor tho. So approx 1.2 bar for pre97 and 1.7bar for post 97. Boost control kit can control up to 2 bar.

Have to disagree here. There is an option to set the boost control kit on or off. If you set this to off, the Apexi uses the OEM soleniod/MAP sensor. It's says in the manuals this is the case.........

If this was set to just do the Apexi soleniod how the does it control the duty cycle of the OEM soleniod, there would be no interaction possible???????????

Jonny... have a manual for the Skyline (which is what comes with new WRX Apexis) and RX7. Both say it is capable of controlling boost with factory equipment. True the boost control isn't the best but with a little work i now have set 2 settings which work great. I have a standard setting (0.9 bar) and a setting at 1.15bar. Both quite stable. It also still has the learning feature using the factory equipment, this takes a lot of full throttle runs and the settings need to be close in the first place.
