Yep, BIN IT. Cheap-shot money-grabbers stealing stuff from the people who actually want it to play on it, i.e. tens of thousands of disappointed kids this Christmas.
And yes, I do have one of my own, which I use for playing on.

Blimey, get off yer fukcing horses.
Its simple supply and demand, if you wanted to buy a Rolex Daytona for example, then some people happily pay double the list price, also the same reason why people started marking up Boxsters a while back....the list goes on.

Freedom of choice, market forces, supply and demand and all that.
If you don't like the price don't buy it!.
Personally I would not pay over the odd's the again I am not a hardcore gamer or that desperate for one. My PS1 will do for now.
It is a bl00dy shame that the people who pre-ordered these machines have not got them yet. The anger/blame should be directed @ Sony. We should all boycott the PS2. Not gonna happen is it, we'll moan like hell 'till they arrive and the wax lyrical and forget about the delay once we've 'played' on 'em. I suppose Dreamcast sales will benefit from this supply problems and good luck to them.
Sony will laugh al the way to the bank. They have a strong, quality brand and this will all be forgotten 'till next time. So much foir looking after you loyal customer base.
