Ossick, Sorry, I know this is unrelated, but I need to get new discs and pads for my MY00 before considering selling it. Can you tell me how much you paid for them, and how much the fitting was please ?
Cheers

Dazzler,
They are very easy to fit yourself, the easiest I have ever done. All you do is remove the pads, then remove the two caliper bolts and the disc can then be pulled off by hand. Whole job took me around an hour.
I got solid vented discs from Camskill, which have been excellent. I don't rate drilled/grooved discs due to possible cracking etc. but thats a personal preference. They were around £100.
The pads are Pagid (RS4 I think - anyway the best ones you can use on the road). They make a huge difference but are around £140. However, as you're planning on selling the car, I could have bought some Ferodo replacement pads for under £30.
Hope this helps.

I have some MY99 Disks and Pads
I recently px'd my 99 Turbo. I have a set of disks (with I think very low wear on them) which I took off @ 20,000 miles. I also have a set of pads that came off at the same time. The disks would probably better suit someone keeping their car but..... let me know if you are interested, as to price I'm not sure what are they worth?
