Default Impreza Turbo, UK Wagon, 1998 w/Subaru Proven Warranty

October 1998, 'S' Reg UK Impreza Turbo 2000 Wagon, Dark Metallic Green.

Full Subaru Service History, all stamped up, every single one done at main dealer. All receipts for all work ever done, and folder of all work done, detailing mileage and dates. Last service 2 months ago.

Subaru Proven Warranty, extended from the 'from new' warranty - covers all electrical, mechanical defects, includes Roadside assist, Homestart etc = Piece of mind till November 2004, that no big bills will hit you in the pocket. Extendable after that.

1998 spec with bucket seats (Leather), white dials and cup-holder! Momo steering wheel with airbag, and passenger airbag. 4 x Electric windows, and electric mirrors. Adjustable steering wheel height etc.

Full Leather interior, slate. (option from new - £1450).

Alpine CD Head Unit.

I am the 3rd owner. All history is verifiable, and previous owners contactable (I bought it from a Scoobynet user). I also have a full AA HPI report with mileage verification and valuation certificate.

102k. 90k service(Big One - all belts, oil, all filters etc) done in May 2003, and I have since had the 97,500 service done at Subaru in June 2003 - all fluids, inc. brake, clutch, gearbox and diff. (only had 92,500 miles). 2 Subaru services since then - last one 2 months ago. Oil and filter changed again in August (Castrol RS + Subaru genuine filter). I am currently running it on Castrol RS 10w60. No service needed for another 7,500 miles.

Extensive folder with all bills, receipts and history, including original purchase receipts, all oil changes detailed with date and mileage, and all Subaru booklets.

New short engine fitted at 46k by Tilley's Subaru under warranty, due to known piston slap problem (So most of engine only done 50k). New clutch fitted at same time by Subaru. Gearbox just (October 2003) rebuilt by Subaru, at a cost of £1400, under warranty.

Impreza Mat set (Added Option from new)

MOT and Tax.

16" Speedline alloys with Goodyear Eagle F1's all round.

P1 4 pot calipers (colour coded) with 296mm discs and uprated pads.

NGK Iridium plugs, and exclusively run on Optimax. Always warmed up and warmed down properly.

Genuine Sti panel filter - just 3 months old.

Phillips Extra-Bright bulbs.

Full Stainless Steel handmade Sti exhaust (de-cat centre-section), and handmade Sti backbox (imported from Japan, extremely rare). Will also include original exhaust and cat in sale. Or will put original system and cat back on, and sell for slightly less. Best exhaust I have ever seen or heard on a Scooby - not too loud or over the top, but awesome when pushed.

Cat 1 alarm and dual-immobiliser. Plus some other stuff - secure enough.

Washed weekly, waxed every month.

It's running around 250-260 Bhp. Drives like new (not only me, but main dealer told me that after last service). All original toolkit, unused spacesaver spare, and slidey boot cover thing present. Never been tracked, oil changed at every recommended interval, and more, from day 1, all documented. In fact, one of the most extensive and verifiable service histories you are likely to see. I am no 'boy-racer', hence the reason it's not chavved up and hammered like many a Scooby you will see.

It has a few stone chips, but nothing major. The engine is perfect, never uses oil between changes, which are religiously every 3k. This has been looked after like a baby from new, and I never spare any expense on keeping it running right. Carstins Subaru, who have done all the servicing since I got it, will vouch for this car. Any inspection welcomed.

£7250 ovno.

May consider part ex with something like a Legacy GTB t/t wagon. Selling as we need something bigger.

You won't find a better looked after Scooby, with such an extensive history.
OK, there are cheaper Scoobies - but look at their history.
And ........... Wagons rule - street sleepers, more practical, better handling - this is an estate car that can hit 60 in 5 seconds dead.

Oh, and the handmade Sti backbox alone cost over £1k new, + import costs from Japan, thats not including the handmade decat pipe.

Remember - this is a UK car, no toppy uppy with Octane Boosty, costly costly
250-260 Bhp with the mods (no remappy needed) - probably better than a Jap Sti running on UK fuel
Insurance much cheapness (£600 F/comp protected for me, with mods declared)
Standard exhaust included (if you don't want to declare mods)
Warranty is worth having
Every bit of the history can be checked with previous owner(s) and/or Subaru dealers - serviced from new at Tilleys then with me at Carstins for last 18 months.
Did I say wagons rule - you won't see a Chav on every street corner in one - they prefer 4 doors with lexus lights
What better Scooby to own, I ask you?????

I also have all original brochures, original purchase receipt (detailing extras-leather interior, Luxury mats, metallic paint etc), full clear AA HPI check and valuation certificate, and lots of Subaru bumph from when it was bought.
Most of miles are motorway - bought of Scoobynet user Guido who had it from 6 months old and commuted a lot.
Does anyone want a straight, legit, immaculately looked after scooby that will run and run?
