Box of Hand Rolled AGED Cigars
BOX OF 25 HAND ROLLED THIRTY YEAR OLD (approx) CIGARS
Right, I'm posting this up for the sole intention of making a bit of money. Have no illusions, if these don't sell I'll smoke them myself! My tobacconist got back from the trade fair in germany a few weeks back, where he purchased (from a known collector) various boxes of aged cigars.
These cigars are in the region of 30 years old, many of the brands I've got are not actually made any more.
I'm only putting these up specifically as they are hand rolled, thus making them the higher quality. They are not Cuban - if they were I'd be down at an auction house faster than you could light a B&H
However - I've tried some from another box and they do smoke well, very nice smokey, peppery flavour to them.
They are all sealed wrapped. If someone does buy, I'll talk you through how to moisten them up for smoking (yes, they are dry, they were made about 1970, but they can easily be revived - I have successfully done 3 boxes now).
If you don't smoke these - I most certinally will!
So, how much? How much is a peice of string. These are very old, so its impossible to match them against modern prices. This size of cigars, aka petit coronas, would normally sell for about £100 - £155 these days, but then again they wouldn't be aged. So sensible offers please! (ITRO £70+)
matthew@breezems.com or PM me via scoobynet to discuss prices, anything else just post.

Sorry to hijack the thread but really interested in what you say about reviving cigars.
I've got 2 boxes of the large Romeo y Juliettas. One is sealed and the other is open. They are at least 20 yrs old and would think they need help before smoking. Can you tell me how to revive them. Would like to smoke the open box and keep or sell the sealed one if worth it.
Anyway a free BTT for you
Cheers
