Scooby Wanted / 3-Door Cosworth For Sale
#1
Due to a new addition to the familiy it looks like I'm gonna have to sell my Cossie, in order to by a more practical car with 4-Doors (I've convinced the wife that Scoob's are very practical).
So if any of you guy's or gal's have a scooby that they want to Part-Ex against my Cosworth then please feel free to contact me.
I would consider a straight swap for any scooby worth in the region of 10K, or would take an earlier model plus cash. The spec of the Cosworth is as follows :
Ford Sierra Cosworth 1986 (D), 79000 miles, full history portfolio including many receipts, previous MOT's (maybe all), origional Bill of Sale etc. etc.
The car is completly standard i.e standard engine spec (Except GRP A Head Gasket), standard suspenion, exhaust, Ford Stereo, no speaker holes anywhere, no cracks in dashboard.
Since purchasing it last year for 10K, I have had a full engine re-build both top and bottom end including new pistons, rings, main bearings, re-bored, re-ground crank, tappets, valve guides, oil pump, water pump and clutch all of which cost in excess of 3K.
Since the re-build it's probabley done about 2,000 miles.
So there you have it 10K for the cosworth, or do a deal with your old Scoob....
Cheers.....

Hi Scott,
I'd always wanted a Sierra Cosworth in Moonstone Blue but since I bought the Scooby there's no other car I would like now, unless I win the lottery, of course
Gorgeous car though. Hope you get the swap you want.
Scotty.

Craig,
Yeh, if you could pass on the details to your collegue, I would be interested.
But only if,
A: An Exchange is on the cards.
B: The Scooby isn't Silver, as I had a silver one before and it was a right pain when I had to get some paintwork done (i.e getting a good match, as silver's the worst).
Cheers.....
