I've decided to sell my Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moon Watch", model number 3570.50. I have owned this watch since it was purchased on 15/02/2004 at Watches of Switzerland for £1275.00.
It is in almost perfect condition, there are a couple of really tiny marks on the back of the clasp from where i've rested my wrists whilst typing. This watch has been very well looked after, I only wear it for work or special occasions. If I'm out cycling or washing the car then I use my old G-Shock instead so the Omega stays looking pristine.
The Moon Watch got its name as it was the first and only watch to be worn by astronauts on the moon. It is still the only watch certified for EVA use (spacewalks) and is worn on the outside of the astronauts space suits.
Full details are available at the Omega website http://www.omega.ch
I'm selling the watch, the red leather case with Omega badge, pillow for the watch to sit on inside the case, outer white cardboard box with Omega logos, warranty cards, warranty card holder, 1 spare bracelet link, swinging tag (showing £1500 RRP!) and the original sales receipt. I am also including the 157 (bigger than A4) page Moon Watch book which is only available from Omega. I have blurred the watch serial number and my credit card number in the photos to protect myself and the potential new owner.
I'm looking for £899 ovno, this is a realistic selling price for a watch only 7 months old which is in almost perfect condition. http://www.blitzwatches.co.uk sell this watch new for £1240.
It's advertised on eBay so i'll need a pretty firm offer to end the auction, PM me if you're interested or need any further details.

I've had my Speedmaster Pro for a couple of years, and after the STi it's the best purchase I've ever made.
Have a look at these links for more info on a watch that has a history that few,if any, can match.
Good luck with your sale;someone will end up very pleased with this.

ps
Would you consider selling the book on it's own?

Cheers for the positive comments mate, yeah it's a lovely watch but i feel like changing it again and want something just a little "extra". ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Probably no other watch out there with as good a story behind it.
I'd like to keep the book as part of the overall sale package for now, but you can get one from Swatch UK if you call or email them. They are the importer for Omega so that's who you'd need to contact, i'll try and remember who exactly you need to ask. They're about £15 if i remember rightly...
