Unhappy

Due to imminent house move, I need to sell my five door MY94 finished in silver.

Two previous owners.
Full SSH.
MY 98(16")alloys fitted with Yokohamas.
MY 2000 Clear fog lamps.
STI rear box.
WRX interior.
Momo gearknob.
Mats, headlamps protectors etc.

Nice car and well looked after. The Price is reflected by the mileage (110k). The best offer above £6,995 secures.

No siily offers please, and yes I do know that there are a lot of scoobies on the market etc etc.

Regards,

The dogman.

P.S. I would consider swapping for a car that would be cheaper to run for a similar retail price.

Hi Dogman
Best of luck selling,I dont know why you bothered advertising it to so many scooby critics who obviously do not have a clue about the long term abilities of of scooby,s. Perhaps if they spent less time talking down their supposed liking and value for scooby,s and spent more time putting miles on their cars they just might understand what a bargain your car and many other similar mileage scoob,s really are.

Peevee

Sh1te - I am looking for a Scooby at the moment and have found plenty going for the £7 - 7.5k mark. Most are imports fair enough, but are clean and have sub 50k mileage as opposed to the spaceship mileage that this one has.

It may be clean and very nice but after 12 months if I bought this one it will have done 130,000 miles - far too much - engine replacement on the cards.

No disrespect to your car Dogman, I'm sure it is nice.

Sorry but I think you'll have a problem selling your car here.

From a buyers POV (and I am considering):

High mileage is the main problem but also -
Non original wheels,
Non original lights,
Non original interior,
94 model (old),
5-door (less popular ?).

Whilst the non original parts may be considered an improvement, they will not improve the value to any extent.

The mileage might not be a problem as Full SSH is stated, but it will put people off.

Try advertising in Autotrader and maybe drop the price to £6k ?

Kevin (and I just know I'm going to be flamed).
