I'm not trying to be pedantic but as far as I am aware early wrx's put out around 240PS not 280. Even the 93 Sti "only" put out 250PS.

Prices are at an all time low and I would be very surprised if you get anywhere near that!

yup, 93's only had 240ps and that's based on Jap fuel.

Can comfirm the above, I have a 93 WRX with 45,000 miles and paid £7000 for it last September. That included an STI strut brace and Jap drainpipe exhaust

Just out of interest ....

I've just spent £9400 on a MY94 WRX STI, jap import, on 53,000 miles. It's the 5 door estate, and has all the usual STI extras.

Was this a good price, or not ? Not that I mind, I got £2000 more in trade in on my old car than it was worth ....

You can have mine for the same price!!! I'll go and get a sti and keep the change!!! Mines dyno'ed at 275bhp but has a few mods to get it up to that!!! pumpers. ( with a similar MY93 wrx)
