Hi guys
After various fruitless negotiations, I have decided that I have decided I must sell my car. Many reasons, moving to London, need cash to do up house, girlfriend hates it anyway etc. etc.
However, I love thing and know that it is one of the best and rarest around, so I won't take a crap offer.
The specs and photos are below (email me if you can't see the links).
The deals would be as follows - either 11,250 cash for the car, OR, I would consider a part exchange for a WRX or UK Turbo (preference given to low miles, good condition and nice mods) and some cash. If any of you have any other funky cars to PX, test me out on them.
So if any of you MY93,4,5,etc. WRX boys who are having trouble selling your car cos there's loads of them on the market, and want the ultimate drivers scooby, drop me a line.
The car was thoroughly checked over by Pete Croney at Scooby Sport on friday, so if you have any questions as to the cars's condition, he has kindly aggreed to give his expert opinion.

My car is as follows:
Late 95 Impreza Sti 2 Type RA Lightweight in white.
39,000 miles
Scoobysport Backbox
ITG Filter
Pagid grooved discs and pads
16" Advan 5-spoke Competition alloys
Front and rear Carbon fibre strut braces
Short-shift close-ratio gearbox
Adjustable centre differential
Intercooler water spray
Roof mounted ait vent
Sti logo seats and interior
Nardi steering wheel
Air conditioning
High-rise rear spoiler
Lightweight body panels and windscreen glass
Aluminium bonnet and boot
Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser
Private plate - M9 WRX
A1 condition, cherished car.
Always serviced by me at Scoobysport, Silkolene or Mobil one always used.
Car was given its major, £700 45,000 mile service at SS when I bought it at 33,000, for my peace of mind and the car's longeivity.
Power 280 Bhp approx with mods (276 standard)
Weight 1200kg (Subaru official figure)
= Power/weight ratio of 233Bhp/tonne
Compare with:
Impreza P1 - 219 Bhp/tonne (and longer gearing...)
UK Impreza Turbo - 177 Bhp/tonne
Evo VI - 204 Bhp/tonne
BMW M5 - 236 Bhp/tonne
(Figures from EVO magazine)
ie. I think it would be a fair claim to say that this is possibly the fastest basically standard Impreza ever built. Later, heavier Sti Type Rs (same power and gearing, but and extra 70-80kg) have been timed by EVO magazine at 4.3 secs to 60 mph.
I forgot to mention though that the car has never been on a track and has been fully deristricted, conveted to mph, with a 180mph speedo.
You know you want this car!!!!
So, if you fancy one of the fastest most focused driver's scoobies around to brighten up your life, drop me a line at freemrh@hotmail.com
Don't be shy, I love to negotiate.
Cheers

I currently have a red LHD 5 door 95 turbo from Switzerland. Only covered 30k miles with full Subaru history (including cam belt change at 28k miles).
Recently been updated with a Prodrive quickshift, 16" MY00 silver alloys with new tyres (500 miles ago), immobiliser, CD player and 22B 4-pot brakes.
Obviously the price would reflect the fact that although it's a great example it is LHD which is a problem for some.
I am looking to shop in against either an STI V4 or EVO 5. Would you be interesting in discussing further ?
Marcus

Well Mattski, Sti RAs are shall we say, a bit hardcore? They are built to intoxicate the driver, so passengers (well, my girlfriend) suffer. She doesn't like the speed, ride, or lack of mod cons. I am threfore hoping that a slightly more subtle example will improve things a bit. I am not prepared to completely give up a scoob!!! + I need some cash to do up my appartment.
Guys, if you want to know the condition this car is in, ask Pete at SS. He has done a full inspection for another customer.
Cheers
