One little nibble so far.
I am down/up-grading to a Caterham Seven. If I fit in that is. If not a Caterham then a Westfield, which I have tested and fit ok.
I am 6'2" but am prepared for a little suffering.
I would totally love to keep my impreza
but I am not using it enough and think I
will get more fun from a seven. I am also
going to buy my previous car back off my brother to cover my more sensible needs. A Saxo VTS. Also, will sell my girlfriends car. Peugeut 205GT. And I can never ever remember how to spell pueojout.![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
Camping/holidays may require a considerable revision of my girlfriends packing regime.![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)

2 years old (nearly) and £16.5k? No chance mate! My MY00 is about 15 months old and I reckon it's probably worth about £14k inc aircon (if I were selling it, which I'm not
).
If you get £15k then well done!
Best of luck
Richard

Richard, is £14k a starting or your final offer. ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
To be honest, you are probably right, 16k is over the odds and I would be flabbergasted to get the asking price.
I am always open to a good haggle. Make me an offer. I can only refuse.
<buyers_pay_attention>
I was offered "about £13k cash" from a dealer last week with only a quick look. I am not sure what kind of markup they would put on it, but I guess not peanuts. I already know someone who would give me more than that, so don't try it.
</buyers_pay_attention>
I am also not really in a rush to sell, so I can wait. People buying appear to have good choice of cars around MY99. If I was in the market to buy I would take my time and pick the right car. I also think that, at the right price (my price), somebody will get a very good car off me. Sob!
Every few days I check my sums to see if I can afford to keep it as well as a Caterham. In fact, part of the reason for buying a newish Caterham (about 3 years old) is that it should lose me even less money than my Subaru. I suppose I could get an even cheaper one and maybe lose even-even less, but I feel quiet comfortable spending around £17k.
Don't buy a new WRX. Buy the original and best (and the best colour DBM). IMO.

You will fit in a Caterham - find one with the seat fixed to the floor for maximum room.
I'm currently buying a Caterham 50/50 with a mate. Get to keep the Scoob as well that way.
We're buying a 2.0 Vx Caterham with great big stinking carbs and about 200 bhp

Erm - guys I think this is an Old sale thats been resurected - it started in 2001!!! Hence a 2 year old comment for a MY99. If anyone is paying 16K for a MY99 in 2003 they can't be in the UK!!!!
Cheers
