Hi Paul,

You might want to post this car here:

http://www.getfreeforum.com/forums/index.php

It's a UK Legacy Forum, so I'm sure there'd be some interest. If it's got any mods I'd list them too, as well as the last service and where you are based.

Good luck with the sale!

Paul,

What fuel do you run this on, normal unleaded? and what MPG do you get?
Looking for a reliable second car.

Ashley,

I run my slightly later model Legacy on Optimax, it's more expensive but it definitely runs better than normal unleaded (pulls better at lower revs I found.)

I get about 31mpg on a longish run using m-ways driving at a constant 70mph, in town (crowded SE London with $hite traffic) it's probably about low to mid twenties.

Hope this helps

Steven

Hi Ashley

Run the car on normal unleaded (shell), have used Optimax and it does give a little more power, you'll have to disconnect the battery for a minute, to reset the injection ECU parameters to get results, if you don't use it all the time.

My MPG is the same 25-26 around town and about 30 on the motorway.

cheers
Paul

ps,
should have some photo's to e-mail to anyone interested soon

Hi Ashley.

The car's very reliable i've owned it 3 years and the only problem i had was a slight running fault due to a temp sensor, replaced the sensor and now starts and runs perfect every time.
I changed the oil every 3,000 miles (mobil 1) and the two owners before me got it serviced by the Subaru main dealer, (Loads of recipts and history).

txt me your e-mail address on the no. at the top of the page and i'll e-mail you some picture's.

Cheers
