Try Roadrunner (Adverts in most car mags). I have just bought a straight through (no resonator) Magnex center section from them for £56.50.

Dogdogman,

I asked Andy Tang as I sold him the back box for a friend of his, I asked Andy how much should I sell it for and he said £60 hence the post.

My price now is £50 to collect.

How much did you pay for delivery? and what else did you buy? and when did you buy it? I bought mine 2 months ago and understand they don't do them anymore. Regardless Road runner must be the only ones to have them in stock and how many are left?.

I was told that the Magnex centre without a resonator was no longer made. That was May last year!!!

I ended up buying a Magnex centre with a resonator and that was £100 (including delivery, VAT, etc) I called Demon Tweeks, and the centre with resonator was being sold for £115 + VAT + Delivery!!

Now if you don't think £60 (or now £50) is too out!!

Moe,

My friend has put the Magnex backbox on his MY99 along with a Magnex with resonator, and he is dead chuffed with the price and noise!!

Whatever you buy/sell there will always be someone to put the mockers on it!!

I bet you would have had a hard time, if you were giving it away!!!

Oh well
Andy

Question

I was selling my Magnex decat'd MS for £50 only the other week (until my new purchase fell thru). They were around £99 from Road Runner Nottingham (a year back).

I think someone got the parts and prices muddled up, £50/£60 is and was a bargain!!

Hey Dogdogman,

I know you only ment well m8, I don't want to con anyone hence the reason why I asked Andy Tang how much should I sell the MS for.

Look after yourself and no hard feelings to anyone, unless you drive a ford/golf. ha!

I didn`t like to mention anything until all was settled here, but, Roadrunner have 27 straight through de cat centre sections without resonator in stock now. Price is £56.50.
Just in case anyone else wants one.

P.S don`t think that includes vat so £60 sounds reasonable anyway

Cool

Yep, I was also waiting until sorted.

Moz is correct they have these in for £57.

Gazz Scooby has also been quoted the same price for a centre section with resonator from RoadRunner while stocks last.
So get buying now chaps.

Hello m8,

Yeah that was my first time, the full system is a SS no resi's, the magnex MS was what I use to have on it.

See you at the next meet Chris and I hope Ronnie was not to worried about his alarm going off

I make do with the Magnex centre (with resonator), along with the SS backbox and downpipe.

I can ONLY set off car alarms in covered carparks!!!

Hey TC,
I didnt mean to p anyone off, no hard feeling eh? Does the resonator cs make a large differance in db's. I only have the cs and bb (magnex) with the factory cat down pipe (for now that is!) but it still produces a throaty rumble so im wondering how loud its gunna be, not too loud im hoping!

Dogdogman,

No problem, I run no resi's and a ss DP much louder but better than HKS etc when driving on the motorway, very little cabin noise.
The full ss system as you heard sets off car alarms (oop's) when reving i.e. 4-5rpm (this was a test)

Take care m8

TC
