Yeah, very funny Dave!

Any offers from anyone before I start advertising to the masses?

Cheers,
Nick

After a trip to dartmoor I had a change of heart and couldn't bear to part with my beloved car.

However, six months down the line and its time to get practical so I'm looking to sell again with a view to buying a 5 door STi IV or V.

Anyone interested at £16,500 ono? Still only done about 12k miles.

I'm looking to buy a second car this month and a RB5 is one of the choices. A couple of questions:

Have you use it for track days.

Any bumps or prangs

How serious are you about selling because 16.5k is above market price, even for a perfect car and I have five more RB's to look at. I work in E3,is this near you?

No bumps or prangs and never used on the track. Only blemish is a couple of wheels are slightly kerbed due to high London kerbs. Very well taken care of, engine never been over 3000rpm until fully up to temperature, turbo always given at least a minute at idle before switching engine off and body regularly cleaned/waxed with Wax Wizard products.

Its the standard RB5, not the WR Sport, so no Prodrive Performance Pack but the suspension is identical. I'm fairly serious about selling but not in any particular rush as long as its sold by May. I'm based in Ealing (W13) and if you want to negotiate the price then feel free to drop me an email. What do you think the market price is?

Nick

It is a buyers market, but £16.5k is very reasonable for such a low mileage RB5. I want one myself, but job uncertainty and a new baby in 3 weeks is forcing me to wait a while. Hold out for the money - if you've still got her in 2 months I'll probably take her off of you.

Thank you for the post. I'm afraid that having owned imports means I need the car to have the Prodrive package..otherwise I'll spend half my time banging my head on the steering wheel shouting 'come on you slug'.
Not a pretty sight I assure you!
However, it seems that Orville is more than interested so I hope he comes through for you.

Thumbs up

Car is now sold!

Bit gutted but I'm off to the Wanted section to cheer myself up by hunting down a good 5 door STi V.
