I've heard rumors of a 200 UK priced athuentic P1 lip to be coming soon to the US market, but that was unpainted... I'd consider paying your price, but only if shipping to the US is included.

ROB G,
I'll have it!!!!!!!!! £450 no prob. I'll ring you with my Goldcard..... Wait a minute .... P1 owners only!?!?!?!?! Never mind I'll ckeck out simos page then.
Subaru dealers think they own the earth. They don't. If they did the cars would be built better and the paint would stay on the P1 front ends 4 longer than 6k
Scotty.

Jon,
I think the one offered is from Chris in Holland. He has modified a replica one to look like the P1 one.
I think that's the same with the one from Scoobyparts. Although the last time I looked, they only offered one without the P1 holes, similar/same as the one that DR Motorsport can supply.
This one I assume is a genuine one, and you would be lucky to get one out of Subaru. I know I spoke to dealers about it! Subaru will insist that you have P1 vin plate, and some dealers have been asked to supply the damamged one, so to prove that it will be fitted to a P1!!! I think it's priced high to put people off, like the P1 rear spoiler costing in the region of £1000 from Subaru.
It's designed to go on a MY99/00 bumper, should not fit a MY98 or earlier car. Although I'm sure a hacksaw can fix that!!
Due to either high prices, or non-availability of the P1 spoiler, I went for the STI6 spoiler, which I personally think looks better!! (£150 for a genuine Subaru part, from a Subaru dealer & more exclusive than the P1 spoiler I think!)

Andy.. I'm sorry, but if you all go and follow the link I provided you'll see what I'm speaking of and it is no replica.. it is direct from Prodrive from Simon L. Follow the link please before you assume that I mean a replica.. not replicas have been made or offered yet in the US.
Thanks,
Jon

Hi guys.
The one is question here is a genuine item.
They retail for about 380-390 +VAT which works out at 450'ish.
It comes pre-painted with the fod light covers.
Prodrive (Simon) is doing a deal for the guys int he states to sell the lip unpainted for 200 pounds. I believe this deal is only open to Us residents.

Andy,
I had contact with someone who was planning to make a copy out of an original one he had,but i wanted it in ABS plastic ,and he could only make one in fibreglass.Prodrive offered the P1 lip indeed in the US ,but i don't think anyone has one yet overthere.
If revolution and other suppliers in the UK have copy's ,i would go for that ,as long as they are not made out of fibreglass.
Bye chris
