Yes, I facelifted it as I much prefer the facelift front to the earlier front! The facelift headlamps also seem to be better than the earlier ones!

How many miles has the replacement engine done and was the dyno run done on the current (replaced) engine??
Do you have a pic of the car as it is just now, on the Gold Speedlines??
Would you be interested in a deal with a 1999 'V' Civic VTi 3dr??
Cheers,
Grant

Folks, I forgot to say - the reason there is an option on the wheels is that the Silver 17" ATP wheels need a refurb - however they are fitted with a set of tyres that has done less than 1000 miles. The Gold wheels which I believe are Speedlines have good paint on them but the tyres are going to need replacement soon. However these things are negotiable!

Thanks for the comments - yes I love the looks and it drives even better than it looks!! I really don't want to sell it but I am struggling to justify keeping it as i have an economy car and a STi v5 Type R as well.
To those who have e-mailed me about the car I will try and respond to everyone today or later tonight!
thanks
Ken

Yes, it has had new clocks! Twice!! I tried fitting white dials and broke the first set so bought another set which worked for a while then the rev counter broke. So had to change them again.
To the best of my knowledge the mileage is accurate to within 250 miles
(there is a sticker on the steering surround stating that mileage is 10,000 higher than displayed - I waited till the last odd miles were the same as the previous clocks to make it a round number)
The replacement engine has done - 30,000miles.
If you have any concerns regarding the mileage - come and have a look at the car - it speaks for itself!

Sorry, I'll give it a miss mate. Too much hassle for me I'm afraid, got caught once before on 'renewed clocks' and it all got very ugly. Good luck with the sale though!

nice car but is the boost gauge fixed firm as it looks like it will fall off on the 1st corner
. I was looking for a 2nd car to make a bit more raw than my MY03 STI bit really wanted Leda adj coilovers & nothing else, shame. Must admit, the mileage worries me, you can't trust anyone nowadays so i recon I will give this car a misss.

The boost gauge is firmly fixed with two screws so no problem with it going to fall off.
Regarding the mileage - I agree completely with the sentiment that it is difficult to trust any mileage readings. However I have been completely open and honest about the fact that the clocks have been changed. My point being that had I wanted to hide anything I wouldn't have admitted to the clocks being changed - but they have so I stated it.
Actually thinking about it - it should not be much of an issue on this car anyway as practically everything has been uprated or renewed relatively recently.
Any concerns regarding mileage will quickly disappear on viewing as it is quite obvious that it is still in great nick and not a tired old high miler!!

I have had a lot of enquiries offering a P/X so I think its best if I lay out some guidlines.
Cars that would interest me are people carrier, Pajero Diesel, Mk2 Escort Mexico or RS, or cheap runabout!
thanks Ken

Hi Ken,
Can you advertise it on the Hampshire Subaru web site so that a friend I work with can see it ( were unable to look on Scoobynet at work ) He has seen it in the Auto Trader and likes the look of it. It's slightly more than he wants to spend but I think if he saw it he would buy it looking at your pics.
Colin.

Your post edit doesn't state that you changed the mileage amount...
