Cool

Steve,
your car looks well smart but I think you are probably too dear, I paid the same amount for a brand new car with the same wheels on it from Belgium last year. The state of the market is not good. However if you want to sell the spoiler I would be interested .

I agree with Glen. I'm a buyer and yet I'm not buying because better and better offers keep coming up. The market is full of Subaru's for sale - over 1270 on E&M, Autotrader and Top Marques alone and you don't see too many multiple adverts. I've been looking at RB5's and in less than two months I have found comparable cars available with a price spread of £6ooo. The strong possibility of higher insurance premiums just make the the availability greater. I think we need to take a realistic veiw of the value of our cars if only to broaden the pool of prospective buyers. I was shocked at the time when I lost 2k over a year selling on my STI wagon but if sold today I wouldn't be suprised to lose 6k.
Even here where we are trying to sell to subaru devotees the same pattern emerges and I guess the words 'strong residuals' no longer apply...Oh spit!

Cheers Glen. Sorry the spoiler stays with the car. Makes it that little bit different!
Can't believe that I've gotta go lower, that'll be a loss of £10,000 in 18 months!!!!
Mind you I don't need to sell it, my insurance premium isn't that bad, the car's still great fun, it still turns heads, I was only selling 'cos I needed the money to do my drag car up!
Obi, "cast iron residuals" no longer apply. DOH!!!!
Cheers

Well, apart from enquires on the leather seats and the Prodrive spoiler, no-one seems interested in the whole car.
I find it a little suprising when I see some of the other prices quoted on here for similar cars.
The only thing against mine is the mileage, but there again, isn't that what cars are for?!?!?!
This car is a steal.
Any offers???
It's never been on a trackday by the way!!

Cheers DW!! You've got taste, if not dosh!!
Good spot Harj!!
One of the reasons for selling the Scooby is that I need the money to do up the Capri! It's purely a drag car. It's got a 4 litre Rover V8 in it, but the gearbox is pants! I'm up Santa Pod every other week, handy living round the corner ;-)
It'll soon be giving the Scoobies a run for their money, even Stef!
