Deep,
I think you'll find that kit should fit uk cars, as far as I know it's the same kit. It won't fit earlier pre 97 wonky intercooler model cars. What makes you think it won't.

Hiya Nito.I seem to remember that when I advertised it before a few weeks ago,one of the moderators posted saying that it would'nt fit uk cars because of a difference
in the MAF sensor connection.I could have misunderstood.Any info would be greatly appreciated Nito. Cheers Deep.

Deep,
The STi's/WRX's and UK cars from the same years have the same fittings.
There are 3 Super Powerflow Induction kits from HKS for the Scoob.
Part no.
1504-SF003 Fits MY 92/11-96/08 (old model)
1504-SF004 Fits MY 96/09-98/09 (Version 3&4)
1504-SF007 Fits MY 98/9> (version5> )
So essentially the first kit will fit all scoobs MY93-96 with the wonky intercooler.
The kit you have should be the second kit which fits MY97 and 98 as well as version 3&4 STi's and 22B.
The third kit is for the MY99 on cars, ie those with the new style front bumper that use the hot film instead of the hotwire AFM.
Hope this helps

Kevin,
The first thing you'll notice when you fit the induction kit is that without any restrictions the std fit recirculating dump valve is much louder. You'll get a tchhhh every time you change gear. On top of this you get the induction roar, like a suction noise on the throttle. If you've ever had an induction kit before you'll know what this sounds like.
Personally, I love it. The first time I fitted it, I thought oh my god this is loud but a couple of days later and I loved it. You really hear the car doing its work and it adds a whole new aural dimension to the sound of the scoob. I think this and an exhaust bring it to life personally.
But..if you carry passengers a lot, ie for work or family then it may be too much. Otherwise..go for it and join in the fun. It's amongst the first mods I'd do to a scooby again!
