Yep that's the one. A Ruf 993 Porsche Turbo R. Drove it yesterday, and it's completely mad. Having said that it is very easy to drive and well behaved. Top speed 204 MPH!

£1,250 off your asking price, im surprised u did so well!. warrander had two just like yours for months, they couldnt get rid of them brand new for £24,000! I ended up getting a st15 coupe for £19,000 4k on the clock (not from warrender)

Very, very jealous... If you don't mind me asking Simon what sort of ballpark figure did you pay for the Ruf and where from - I'm presuming its a LHD import? IS it a Ruf tuned Turbo 4 or their own turbo system onto a Carrera 4? Sorry for all the questions - 993 Turbo 4 has been the car I would like when I can afford a 3rd car.
Have fun

Thanks David
It is actually a LHD 993 Turbo 4 with Ruf conversion. The work has been carried out by Ruf HQ in Germany and is an engine, brake and suspension conversion. i.e. Still looks like standard T4. Wow though when you start the thing up!!! Oh my god, what a noise.
I must admit the ride is exceptionally smooth and the car has all the trimmings: climate control, cruise, on-board computer, Sat Nav, immense stereo, Teckart dials and interior bits.
All in all amazing value with complete history, and I am due to meet the owner this weekend as well.
My fingers are crossed for tomorrow as that is the pick up date.
Oh and one last thing, price: I'll tell you once I have the grubby thing in my hands!!
Simon
BTW Anyone here got S300 WRX??

Simon - I'm jealous ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
Post some pictures when you get it..
Murf - there is a trip to the Ring in a couple of weeks, but I think you will struggle now to get hotel / ferry crossings booked because it is over the Easter weekend.
Do some searches and you should find details in the 'International' section.
Cheers
Chris

Thanks all.
The car is Magnificent!!!!!! Just mind boggling!!!!! It has been a bit lively a couple of times in the wet, but I suppose that's what you expect even with 4WD.
I am endeavouring to get along to the EVO meet at Twyford this coming Saturday 8th (Bird in Hand), regular Scooby meeting place, if anyone is interested in having a look.
It does not have any of the Ruf exterior pieces on it, quite low key, that's if you can have a low key 993 Turbo, but has Techart interior bits and pieces. Sound kind of gives it away though!!!!!!!!!!!
Has H&S suspension as well which means it sits quite low and not much roll.
Anyway will keep you informed of progress.
James - I think Steffan is in just slightly a different league to me, maybe it's his white socks and loafers that do it!
Thanks
Simon
