I am selling my Vento VR6 as I am about to live in Austria for 6 months and 'work' as a ski rep / guide.
I have always had a company car allowance and the VR6 has been the best compromise between performance, comfort, reliability and cost I could have hoped for. I've averaged 32.3mpg over the 40K miles and 18 months I've owned the car. At £3000 it is great value, the condition hasn't really deteriorated at all as the pictures show.
It has a very full service history from VW Main dealers early on, to Awesome Gti and Central VW Audi with me. There are also details of oil changes at 5000 miles between 10000 mile services. It's got Tax and MOT until the end of May 2005. If I wasn't going abroad, I would keep this car until some seriously high mileage, it still feels very new. It has 90K miles now, and doesn't suffer from issues like noisey timing chains, iffy idling etc...

This picture shows a minor crack in the front bumper caused by me a few months ago being a little too close to the car in front queing at a roundabout.

Its washed at least every two weeks, and has been polished with Autoglym Polish, and High Gloss Protection periodically.

New rear disks, pads, shocks and powerflex rear beam bushes have been recently fitted.

At the front its got Koni top adjustables, with OEM springs

The engine is standard apart from a K&N panel filter.

I'll be keeping the stereo and the Nokia car kit for when I return. I'll leave in the origin Blue i speed camera detector though.

Bad points are:
The tyres will need changing in under 5000 miles, the Toyo's have lasted 27,500 so far!
The crack on the front bumper as pictured
2 small bubbles of surface rust under the paint on the boot lid
A scuff on the nearside corner of the rear bumper from before I bought the car.
The front brakes will probably need doing soon, only because I haven't had to change them in 40K miles, they work perfectly of course.
Its got the usual total closure Cat 1 alarm / immobiliser, all original keys, and spare keys, and owners manual and service book.
I live in Warrington if anyone would like to view the car?
regards

Anyone see the pics now?
I can only see links after editing the post with the new URL's for the pics. This is even after changing the settings in my control panel...
thanks,
Andy
