Yes...its a round tailpipe....probably 3 or 3 1/4"
No...it does not have the standard innards of a normal scooby backbox.
I am pretty such this is very similar in terms of performance to a scoobysport backbox (which I have - and have had on my previous 2 scooby turbos). I couldn't tell any performance difference between the 2 on the P1.
Sound is very nice...not quite as loud as a scoobysport but very nice all the same. Just trying to clear all the bits out of the garage.

The prodrive P1 box is a beaut !! [just bought one]........ It allegedly gives another 4% in performance, and sounds looooovely.
I agree with Ian though - I cant feel any difference in power etc.
I'm not sure though whether the mounting prongs are different - prodrive mentioned something about this to me when I spoke to them.................
Oh - and that is a damn good price for one....... !

Ian,
I have mailed you. Would definitely like the backbox if still available. I work in Mansfield and so can arrange to meet you to suit yourself.
I was one of the people you took round as a passenger in your P1
at the Donno meet - a memorable experience ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
Cheers,

As Gastro says, get one you won't regret it.
Haven't noticed much of an increase in performance but it sounds superb![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
