Pug 205 GTI, Miami Blue
Ive got my 205 GTi for sale at the moment and thought I'd would see how it does on here.
It's a 1992 H plate, with 89.5k miles with documents to prove.
Miami blue (nice dark shade) with factory sunroof and special edition grey interior and full leather seats, drivers seat has some wear on bolster and front edge, but it is just stiching, the rears are mint (with head rests!) and passanger is good condition.
Its got a long MOT late june/early july 2005 and the tax ran out 31/09/04.
Its got the original service book, sale book and bits of documentation (including past 7/8 MOT's) V5 is current and upto date showing 6 past owners.
modifications; the car is originally a 1.6 but has had a full 1.9 8v conversion with original 1.6 gearbox and rare increased rev limiter. She also has a top and bottom strut brace and a K&N air induction kit. Grill has been changed to a gutmann style whcih has been colour matched.
It's also got clear rear lights and looms, a twin exit exhaust which is pretty loud to say the least, and clear side indicators.
the car is currently sitting on a full set of TSW alpines in anthracite/black with bridgestone boots, all have got very good tread on, also supplied will be a set of 4 1.9 speedlines in okay condition, all with a selection of budget tyres, again all good tread. Also a kenwood single cd unit with uprated front speakers.
Bad bits; the car will need the rear torsion beam adjusted as its a bit low at the back, i've been quoted £80 from spooks to get this done. also the n/s front wing and n/s of the bonnet has two small patches where the lacquer has come off and the paint has cracked. The front bumper has a small crack in it on the black valance. The radiator also has to be manually switched on, I cant imagine it being a hassle for a competent person to hook it back up to the temp sensor, which is fully working. Some little bugger has also stolen the front fogs of it! Thats it, does smoke a little on idle but only a little.
This car would wake an excellent track day (my intention) or fast road car, but I went drifting last weekend ( in a nissan 200) and i've got the bug, so now want to get a fat ar**d rear wheel drive to get some drift action going on. The car is very fast, handles like a dream and stops where you want it to. It would be a collectors piece if the small items were done on it and would fetch top money.
Yours for the paltry sum of £975 ono.

its a 1.6 with a 1.9 engine, so the best of both worlds, the power of the bigger engine with the ratios of the quicker gear box!

I went drifting over last weekend with a friend in his nissan 200 (S13) and loved it.
So now i'm after a nice rear wheel drive (early MR2 or Mk1 200sx)) to track and drift.
I would keep this as I spent so long looking for a 205, but as i'm a fussy bugger I would like to get a good example of one of the above.
