Just been offered a paltry £6500 in Part exchange for my car but would prefer to sell to someone who appreciates it rather than a dealer who will sell it on for £8k.
Spec as follows
Red
Serviced by Listers since I have owned it Including timing belt
Newish clutch
Reg no J11 WRX included as I could not be bothered to retain it.
12 Months MOT
97,000 Km
Magnex de cat centre pipe (O E included for Mot)
Magnex 6x4" oval backbox
Ramair panel filter
Looking for the same price as the part ex offered by dealer £6500.
I have owned this car since importation and will be sorry to see it go but I now have to grow up, save money and have a "sensible car"
Must sell b4 the end of this month.

It would have probably gone if the insurance companies had given potential buyer a decent quote with a sensible excess
But I have still got it.
Did I get the cheapest insurance in the country ???

If you really need to sell and the dealers are being a pain, stick the car in a auction with a £5750 reserve and hope it makes over £6k (which it would on the right day!). It is fairly easy to do and saves hassle of private buyers.
