This unit has three ports on the ecu if this helps.
Was going to buy this but there is no way my cheque would clear in time. Andys mapping mine next week so will have to supply.

I have STi3 MY97 built end of 1996. STi3/4 MY97/MY98 have the 3 yellow socket ecu. A car built in 1997 would fall into these MYs anyway, so you should be OK.
