I've been thinking about one of these cars for a little while. Can I ask you a couple of questions:

What's the mpg like (I'm having to get rid of my VTS cos she just don't like motorways all that much and I'm doing a 600mile round trip every other weekend - I am getting about 35mpg though and I don't want to drop too much, certainly not to scoob proportions)

Purile question maybe but what's the 0-60 and that like?

What sort of reliability are you getting? I don't want to be stuck on the M1 too often

The sale is nothing to do with me, but our lass has got a T reg one of these, so I can help with your questions.

I went from County Durham to Lancashire and back about 3 months ago in our lasses car, and I was doing between 70 and at most 85 most of the way. The computer in the car was registering 33 mpg by the time I got back (IIRC may have been 35). Round the doors, the computer says 26, and she is in traffic every night coming home from work.

As this used to be my car before I got my Scoob, you can imaging my shock at Impeza mpg!!!

0-60 according to Parkers is 7.7 seconds.

We've had ours since Feb 02, and all I've done to it is a new centre exhaust section, new pads all round, tyres etc (consumable parts), and a power steering hose coupling failed and had to be renewed.
