Default 1998 R Punto GT

Come on folks, roll up roll up

a modern day R5 GTT, that wont need to have a headgasket replaced every time you go out in it

98 R reg GT3 in Black
im the 2nd owner from 32k, only recently hit 56k.
(ive owned her for 4 years, and have her on a limited mileage of 5k p/a )

all MOTs and TAX discs.

had my guy who looks after our cars give it a once over before the MOT
(aug 04). Work carried out by him included new rear shocks, discs and pads. New rear wheel bearings into the bargain.
I had a brand new rad and CV gaitor fitted at the same time, along with a service, so thats oil filter, fuel filter, NGK plugs etc.

ENGINE SPEC
piperX air filter
s/s exhaust (straight through centre section with mongoose rear section
PowerOnTheRoad Stage 2 chip
Turbosmart dual stage boost switch (10psi and 18psi)
always ran on super/optimax
Bailey DV26 dv
(estimated 160hp and 160-170lb/ft torque)

INTERIOR
GT3 'spaghetti' interior
autometer sport comp boost guage in a one off guage holder
turbosmart switch in 'cubby' hole position
extra courtesy lights in footwells
original cassette H/Unit

EXTERIOR
GT1 colour coded wing mirrors (vandalism gave me the opportunity to replace GT3 items)
colour coded door handles
RGM corner splitters
rubbing strips removed
mk 2 punto badging to rear

lowered -45mm on PI springs
Red dot 20 groove front discs and RD pads - 5.1 brake fluid.
new rear discs and pads (OE item)

she doesnt miss a beat, runs very reliably and goes like like she ought to - only gets weekend use as i commute into town and after 4 years of ownership i'm in the mood for a change.

i've still got a box in the garage (much to the missus' dismay ) containing all original parts taken off that are any use - GT3 wheels in immaculate condition, springs, rub strips, air filter and box

bad points
i wont lie, shes not mint, but i'd rather tell all the minor things. she is very much loved, below average mileage, above average condition.
few stone chips on the front (to be expected really).
passenger door was damaged by a break in and lock cover is bent.
also appear to have picked up a 'push type dink' (no bigger than a £2 coin) on the tailgate.

i dont really want to revert to standard as whoever buys it will no doubt put similar mods back on only thing i'm not sure about ATM is whether she'll be going with the std GT3 wheels or with the 16" MOMO arrows (fronts are shod with TOYO proxes, rears are semperits)

PICS

bad points

just above the punto badge is the boot 'dink', you can just see the imperfection in the reflection

there is a slight ripple around the lock, and the paint on door handle has peeled

finally learnt how to capture footage from my video camera
http://www.evoposters.net/carpics/ho...ah/booster.mpg

pricewise I'm after £3500 on std rims, MOMO rims negotiable.

cheers
