sold to the ex honda workshop manager!
went for a bargain £15200 - thats 8K of list with only 8000 on the clock - original front tyres with tread still left!
good luck to the chap who bought it (he now works for toyota but couldn't resist the VTEC!)
only one person phoned up about it (even tho it was 1200 of parkers price!). it was advertised in autotrader & top marques) goes to show that 2nd hand cars - however good - people just don't wanna know!

Hmm, shame. I didn't see this, and would have been very interested.
I put a thread in Non Scooby Related - "anyone got/had a Honda Accord Type R?", but unfortunately only one banal reply.
Pity you didn't see that. Anyway, i am still on the lookout, so can i ask - are they as good as i've heard? Any downsides? Ta much,
Terry

Telboy,
Careful ! - apologies for being negative but can only go from personal experience:
Had one from new but only kept it a month due to my concern over engine ` noise ` ! - Arguments with dealer and Honda UK over fuel type / previously ` known ` and dealer admitted piston ` noise ` / ` slap ` ?
Dealer was excellent - swopped it for an Integra Type R, A FANTASTIC DRIVERS CAR !! -
wish I still had it but that`s yet another story. Now on our second scoob ( P1 ) which is still running in; however for raw driving appeal / thrill / noise the Integra is the tops !!!!
If you want further info. on my experience with the Accord call me on jamesa@bp.com
Cheers
