I am selling my sti5 type R to make way for a P1. It was first registered on Dec98 and is on an S plate.It has covered 11,500 miles and has never seen a track day.

In metallic grey, it has all the usual sti spec including water spray and the manual diff control. 16" gold wheels and two new front tyres. I have some extras on the car, a mongoose 4" stainless steel exhaust, pipercross cone and uprated speakers. ( i have all the original parts) It has a uk service history.

This truely is an immaculate car with no accident damage, original panels and no resprays.I had a RAC inspection when i purchased it and that too came out clean.

Why are you swapping for a P1.
Surely the STI is hardly that much different and with the money you will loose on the sale you could make it better than a P1?

Joseph, i want to get a P1 because i always wanted one and am in a good position to finally get one. The sti was only a stop gap. The two cars are quite similar in many respects.The sti coupe is geared more for the "enthuiastic" driver style because drive ratios are different and of course the manual diff lock control.I know the P1 is a lot more expensive, but I think i can justify it to myself as it is a car i will keep for a long time.
