Thanks, have looked at the manual of kenwoodusa website for the amp and it looks very good indeed. Quite similar to a Kenwood 4 channel I already have. I was thinking of it to add to a 2 channel I have in another car running at 2 ohms, but I think I'll leave things as they are at present.
To anyone wondering about this kit - it is really all quite nice - and John is asking a very reasonable price. The 7x10 may need a bit of work to go into the Scoob though.
John - you should put a post in the ICE section with a reference to this thread -"for sales" are allowed and you would reach your target audience better.

thanks john b,
will see if I get much response here before I put another thread in Ice.the head is a bit dated now but the other stuff is good, by the time I put in mdf and a few subs etc things get too heavy now that I track the car.

Surely if you just fitted the amp to the seat back on 6mm MDF and fitted some front comps and rear 6x9 or 7x10 you would add little weight. CD+/-MP3 headunit - and no changer required. Could be only 10kg - as the only extra is cabling and the amp - the rest are slightly heavier replacements. 10kg out of 1235ish kg is surely less than changing to big brakes big wheels? Even 2kg in the doors of sound-deadening and foam would be enough surely??
