DARK:- This function turns off all visual alert idicators (LEDs) except the power indicator. The detectors audio alerts remain active. Some people find flashing indicators distracting!
CITY:- One of the signals the radar detects is X band. One of the things X band is used for are non speeding radar systems such as intrusion alarms, automatic door openers and microwave trafficlight signal controllers. pressing CITY mode reduces the radars sensitivity to this frequency to eliminate the weak X band signals produced by these other users
