Default Snooper SD815iS

Just removed from MY01 WRX, comes with cabling. As good as new, features below.

Snooper SD815iS Features
  • 5 Band radar detection including the new Ku band - detects ALL radar traps.
  • Specially tuned 1000MHz bandwidths on both X and K frequencies.
  • Undetectable Stealth Technology.
  • 360 degree Radar and Laser detection - 100% protection.
  • Separate audio and visual indicators - for complete information.
  • Mute, Dark and City controls - for optimum control (see below).
  • Range finder LED's - lets you know how far away the trap is.
  • Range -
    • Radar and Laser Guns up to 2 miles
    • Gatso Cameras up to 100 yards
    • MiniGatso up to 600 yards
  • Includes Owners Manual containing background information on Radar & Laser techniques.
  • Professional Quality Product - 2 year warranty
  • Dimensions: 85mm x 65mm x 20mm
MUTE:- The mute button has two functions. Pressing the mute button when no alert is being received puts the unit in auto-mute mode. This means when an alert is received it will chirp once to anounce the signal detection and if the signal is prolonged it then 'clicks' quieter for the duration of that alarm. Pressing the mute button during an alert will cancel the audiable
warning for that signal for 20 seconds.

DARK:- This function turns off all visual alert idicators (LEDs) except the power indicator. The detectors audio alerts remain active. Some people find flashing indicators distracting!

CITY:- One of the signals the radar detects is X band. One of the things X band is used for are non speeding radar systems such as intrusion alarms, automatic door openers and microwave trafficlight signal controllers. pressing CITY mode reduces the radars sensitivity to this frequency to eliminate the weak X band signals produced by these other users
